What about your topic is interesting? Is there a specific aspect of your topic that holds more interest for you that would be a good place for you to focus? -if so, explain the focus...
I'm an emotionally motivated person, meaning that I tend to use my emotions and interest to move me to find out more about a certain research topic. I plan on researching more about being a social worker in order to find a better grasp on what kind of career I'd like to pursue within the field of sociology.
I was able to narrow down my research topic last class period... deciding that i would write my paper on whether the lack of interracial adoptions is a leading cause to the growth of the population of children without homes. It breaks my heart to hear about a child having to grow up in an environment without a loving parental figure to guide them.
Children tend to need a lot of guidance growing up and it's hard to teach a child and show them love& support if they have to grow up in an orphanage. I find it absolutely ridiculous that some children could have a chance at being adopted by a good family, but don't get adopted due to the racial backgrounds. Race in my mind should not effect the adoption process.
Children are children, it doesn't matter what race they are & it frankly shouldn't matter. Our country should be putting the racial issue behind us.
